I just made myself a new pouch and covered the dagger sheath ( MacTavish gave me the dagger...THANKS) with matching red leather! And thanks for the leather Seamus!!! you're not using wax as the water proofing? What are you using? Brewer's Pitch from Jas. Townsend & Son, Inc. Higher melting point than wax, and a bit stiffer. It was recommended to me by Micheal ( whose full user name I cannot remember now ) He is a leather worker here on the Archive and sells...

I'll give you the time----but you can buy a lot of old hand tools for the cost of power tools! Thomas maybe.... if you have old tool collectors that are in your area the good tools are usually a lucky find and the old crappy tools are overpriced. and with hand tools some skills are very hard to lea...

Paint does a lot to hide dimensional lumber.....
( at least in tent poles )

Paint a 2x2 and it suddenly looks less like wood from Home depot.

Paint is cheap.
