Gundo has some pics on his web site of his anticlastic stakes, I think those are the ones you are looking at, kind of like a sideways "S". I have a rounded pick that I use as a creasing stake after I reground the tip.

If you have a TOMAR, there is a photo of the remaining rerebrace in the leather armor section. It has beautifully curved vine work, flowers and beasties. My memory escapes me as to where the original piece is, but I am sure someone on here would remember...

Does Thorvald go to all the practices? He makes custom knives and I think he does armor also. I think he may be able to give you a hand. Angus on here is in Mifflinburg, not sure that is Nithgaard or not. There are a few others that frequent this board from the area. I am about 2 hours south, just s...

I know in my area, if I have any questions I can find someone who knows the answer or is willing to give me a hand. I have been contemplatin...

"Easy Bake Yurt" I heard this second hand, but I did see the pictures... A friend of mine had a gentle in a nearby camp make a yurt for Pennsic. he ran out of time cutting the canvas top for his yurt, so he bought a plastic tarp to use as the top. The only color he could find was silver/bl...

I have to agree with Matt on the death rattle thing. Although, their air tools are much better than their electric tools...I went through two of their 3/4 hp bench buffers (in two months) when I finally gave up and asked for a refund. 1 I thought would be a fluke, two just makes it a design issue.

Stickers are an unfortunate evil. Melee in the SCA is even more of a sport than singles fighting. At least guys aren't out there in numbers and jerseys, although most versions of tabards and household and Kingdom colors make fighters look that way. Kind of funny actually how much the modern footbal...
