Having watched opponents THIS PAST Pennsic yelling for their guys to target someone where they had no armor (initial engagement, no rhino hiding to warrant it) leads me to beleive that the idea that we all "play nice" with opponents is more talk than reality. Hmm.....no wonder our barony ...

I LOVED it.

I wish there was one every day of war week.

This kind of thing is why I joined the SCA, and was hoping that events were like when I joined.

I can't wait to see some pictures, and it was by far the best thing I attended at Pennsic this year.

Agreed.

And I can tell you from experience (as Galleron knows as well) this kind of combat is taxing....a break for others to compete would be a good idea!

@ Cassiano, I am to understand that the ENTIRE skull of the bascinette is 12g mild? I hate to be so particular but in Atlantia anything less then a 12g mild construction will result in a helm with poc marks. The visor at 16g is fine. I would have another made for it if need be. Fill me in - thanks....

That and I got a sweet box and some trestles coming too, and they can all just be shipped the same time. Only concern is the large amount of stuff up, hope Todd isn't getting out of the hobby!
