The SCA is like going to the Rennaisance Festival on a Satuday and find out that it's populated by performers all in Steampunk outfits for the most part.

IE- the Michigan "Rennaisance" Festival.....which should be re-named, the Michigan Hippies and Steampunk Revival Show.

Archery in the SCA has almost no historical backing for the way it is used. Something we both can agree on for certain.

Jonathan, I have to ask, are you being obtuse about the use of the crossbow in the middle ages, being a troll, or really don't know.

Been waiting for this! I can't wait to get this and put it to use!

Want to get more and more correct in my technique, and I have 60 days to get ready for the SCA Combat of the Thirty battle..where this stuff really works well and most people aren't ready to counter it.

It is a plain simple fact. I know this from experience. Having worn armor from several different time periods, AND switching to true sport armor for a summer I can tell you this is a fact. I WAS a better fighter hands down. There are shots I can throw in the sport armor that are simply not possible...
