If this is honor, you are welcome to it. m Avery Honor or not, both of these men beleived in something so strongly they were willing to risk everything to seek thier own justice on the matter in arms. Comparing the duel of Burr and Hamilton with a couple of SCA jocks landing a couple of stick tags ...

How much Honour is there in putting a beat down on somebody less skilled at martial combat? I guess if you are somebody that thinks your Honour derives from the number of entries in the win column or is based on how "tough" you are, then maybe those things are honourable. Why are people s...

One thing that I can see as an "issue" is that the Vitus system does (in a way) rob the fighter delivering a debilitating (limb) blow of the opportunity to demonstrate an act of courtesy/chivalry if that is his/her choice to do so - meaning that, if I take my opponent's arm, (in standard ...

Did a little Demo

Did a little Demo for the Ashland County Schools today in Ohio. I love getting the chance to teach kids about the middle ages and the life of a knight back in history. Also got a chance to run some passes (first of the year) at the tilt to work out bugs before the IJA scored tournments. I got some p...

I fought with King Icefalcons unit in the woods battle. I got to fight with the Priory of St Colin too. It was a total blast. I'd like to do it every year.

But, I just like to fight, and am not much about winning the overall war. I'm there to stand with brothers of all colors.
