I'll be making CoP's for new guys/broke guys in the very near future. I need to clear a small backlog but will then get right on with my new guy armoury. A full harness minus helm will run @ $175-$200. I can do the CoP separately for $75. Martel, he's stopping by this evening for some freebie stuff...

Now with tip . Need to find a local store that sell the chrome colored duct tape. Used to get it at Lowes, but they don't have any colored duct tape anymore. Her buckler had a nice thick pad behind the grip. I was thinking maybe when I build my next shield of ditching the basket, using my new gauntlets and padding with the double strap grip. Maybe also creating a sort of tube shaped pad for helping to keep the wrist in the right position. Interesting...

What's that? I have elbow problems in my right (read sword) arm. I'd like to be able to fight left handed sometimes but I have no interest in having two different sheilds to lug around. Center grip sheilds were in use during the 14th century, especially during sieges, but I haven't really seen many...
