Re: WTF: Finding some cow shoulders

Hey, Myself and a girl from my shire are planning on going in together to buy a side of leather, or some shoulders. (she's making a breastplate, I'm going for legs. We'll divvy up the remainder) Where would everyone recommend we go to make the purchase. Right now I'm thinking tandy because they hav...

Well, I'm just glad we have a student of theology here so they can tell me what I've misread in the bible and what I should believe. The apostles do retell the death of Christ in different view points, and they do vary greatly. But they don't contradict each other with regards to the order of death...

YOu may want to consider shortening the vambraces up a bit. Jammig the back of your hand against the vambrace edge can really hurt and interfere with your freedom of movement when throwing sword blows.

Well, they are related to other Germanic groups, true? And certain things seem to be common. Wikelbander or winngas wrapped around the lower leg seems common enough. Various sorts of masculine jewelry such as pectorals, neck rings, bracts, etc. A vendel or Sutton Hoo type helm, or a Late Roman ridge...

In your opinion. In the vast bulk of Christian theologians opinions, Isaiah and Daniel clearly predict the Messiah. There must be something to it, because in the first century AD, Jewish theologians thought the same verses predicted a messiah, they expected them to deliver from Roman occupation. Ch...

A ton of theologians would dissagree with your assertion that there is no Old Testament prophesy regarding Jesus or the Messiah - Isaiah and Daniel is the place to look for it though. I've read them. Theologians have an agenda regarding the advent of Christ and I find them untrustworthy as their ve...

The word Champion comes from the medieval latin word "campion". A tricky thing about latin, from what I've been told by a latin teacher, is that modern latin is very different from medieval latin or church latin and most translators do "modern latin". But since it's a dead langu...

Ahem. I'm very disappointed no one has a moment to pick up one of their bibles and read the details for themselves. What a shame. That should be good. A little story: Once upon a time in Ansteorra (Central Texas) there was a squire who passed out from heat stroke. So you could just tell everyone your name is Yohannes and eventually they'll get it.
