I tend to reserve my judgment of someone's rudeness factor until I've actually had interaction with them.

If they don't come up to me, I'll go up to them. After that I'll pass judgment about whether or not they're rude.

It's true. People from the low-lower Midwest will literally talk to people they have never met like they have known them for decades. I do it at Pennsic to people from California and they just can't farging take it. I just stopped talking to them altogether. We talk to random folks ALL the time. It...

Quick question, do you offer the saber hilt in only aluminum? I've got the "pommels" or at least what I'm using for pommels in brass. Anyway to get the hilt in brass as well?

Thomas mentioning anything Episcopalian trying to get credibility in regards to religion basically kills any chance of having any. IIRC we put 120 plus fighters into the Gulf Wars fray. Last Pennsic was in the 90's, not bad considering the economy then.

Can't wait to be apart of it at Lilies this year. How many do we usually field at Lilies?

Wow, that's awesome. I love it.

The only thing that could make it better would be a blackened maille drape. Very well done, if my period were a bit earlier I'd try and raise the funds for just such a hat.

Great Work.

I paid just a little extra to have a full cuff and maille added. So far so good on the fighting front. I spent most of practice last Tuesday with either a pole arm or a great sword and didn't get as much as a bruise on my hand. Like I said the straps need to be adjusted a bit, but I plan on just sti...

Ok, so I totally forgot to get pics holding rattan, but these performed well at my fighter practice on Tuesday. The mobility was awesome, the best I've had so far. New fighter looking for a budget helm

We've got a new local fighter who is looking for a budget helm. He's not quite picked a persona, but he is partial to spangens. I believe his budget is $200 or less. Unfortunately I do not remember his head size, but he's looking to get this helm before June so he can authorize at Lilies War. I told...

Are the lame plates only attached via that leather thong? if so, you are REALLY going to have to watch the wear and tear on that thong. Armstreet Gauntlets

So I needed a better pair of gaunts that worked better with my Ottoman kit, these seem that they will fit the bill. I had Armstreet tweak them a bit by adding maille on the cuff instead of the usual plates. These are the usual ones he sells. m [img]http://www.armstreet.com/images/catalogue/big_img_2...

At that price, I just may have to take you up on it. We'll have to discuss things again I think about the 5th of next month w...

Just curious, how many of us are "good fighters"? How many "good teachers"? How many are both or neither? I just tonight had my first practice back in armour in about 9 months, it felt phenomenal to get back in armour and swing a stick. At the local practice it was a fairly disma...
