I need a kidney belt on the quick....!!!!

I've almost got me new kit combat ready, still waiting on a few things, but I've got enough to get me on the field quickly if I can find a kidney belt in the next couple of weeks. I've got the parts to one ready to assemble but not much free time and I'd have to dig 'em out from my storage unit. Doe...

I've asked....and asked.....even told them I would come in and collect it when the truck comes in......so such call has been made to me. Maybe I'll try one of the other locally owned lumber stores. Now, between seeing so damn many 14th century kits on the Archive and words such as his own, I was recently determine to avoid it at all costs wh...

Fantastic, being stainless steel with brass accents and stainless maille hinges I would say the value for the amount of money was leaning very much in my favor.

Jolly Knight.........a review.

A+ plus quality, timing was right on, It was less than 6 weeks even though they were shipped from over sea's. These Bazuband's are stainless and brass with stainless maille hinges. Exactly what I wanted to go with my new Ottoman kit. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs433.snc3/24937_1346824825317_10721...

Mad Skillz (Jackie @ Shamrock)

So my new helm from Jackie came in Saturday, I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I am. I sent him 3 pics of extant pieces that I like just a few things I wanted and let his talent work. I'm very very pleased. I've not padded it yet but so far it's a perfect fit, the opening is just big enough to ...

I hate to pick apart someones points without offering something in return, but I have to say about half of your stipulations have nothing to do with combat per se. Just the quality or portrayal.

I would love to see many of those same things but they don't have much to do with combat.

It looks fairly similar with the exception that the Geteld then appears to have a center ridge support unlike the French Bell that has 2 central poles and no support beam.

Norman, as I understand it (never used finger gaunts myself) most people only use the bucklers on 2 handed weapons, and use the gaunts without the bucklers for one handed weapon that are less prone to taking whacks to the fingers such as greatsword, spear, etc.

Depending on how quick you need them, you should try armstreet. He's having a sale on his now. m I've ordered a pair with just a few mods and was still reasonable. I'd be leery of the construction.
