Yep, totally different one. I don't know why I thought my guy was leaning like Wych there. Must have gotten that part confused w/ another effigy. And I see what you mean by "questionable provenance." Something not quite right about that one. Hard to put a finger on it though. Btw - Wych pi...

bare foot effigy?

Why do you think this knight was portrayed w/ bare feet on his effigy? Did someone steal his shoes?

Mullet cyclas for the win!!! This type of image though kind of illustrates the issues that we encounter when using monumental effigies as a source (which I am shamelessly guilty of). Was the image created at the time of the knights death or earlier? Do we still have access to the original image or j...

What can you tell us about the fighting field? If I understand his post, prices would be like this -

24" Round = $60
24x26" Heater = $80
24x48" Kite = $120

Don't know about the strapping, edging, et all.

I'm not normally a fan of the "cylon" look, but that's pretty spiffy. Love the shape of the visor.

Now, just out of curiosity, is the helmet as narrow as it appears in the 2nd photo? I mean, it's not like you have a fat head or anything. Maybe it's just the lighting. :D
