Re: Helmets with glass "eyes" in 15thC painting
To my eyes, I see smaller circles inside the ports, leading me to assume they are less or a glass lens and more of a perforated metal lens. Such eye protection has been seen on helmets throughout history, and on horse chamfrons in the 15thC, so it wouldn't be hard to speculate a close helm with such...

If nothing else pops up to snatch this helm, would you consider payments, with the helm shipped upon completion of payments?
Long shot, but GOD DAMN.

Re: Celtic Armour
If you want simple, wide-ranging and accurate, go with a Leine. Very traditional Irish, covers a fair chunk of history (just change what armor is worn with it), and simple as hell to make. Its just a giant yellow tunic with angelwing sleeves! http://obrienclan.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/highland...

Adelaisa and Caius will be like, $6-$7.

Actually Tim, he is. The Mirror with the angel got up-bidded, but adding the horse charm will make his "package" back to an even $20.00. If he was to be smarmy and only up-bidded a few cents, I would tell him to stuff it, but what he's doing is perfectly fine with me, and keeps the transaction in ev...

Would you mind if I change it to 10 for all three on the mirrors? And I don't feel right about bidding so low on the amber, since it would be worth so much more. I'd end up giving it to a local jewelry maker to turn into prize basket gifts or something like that. So kinda emberassed about offering ...
