Looks like a field cane knife, for grooming shoots of harvestable cane plants (sugar and the like). The axe-like head is used for knocking burrs and growth scales. If some one custom made it, they were either influenced or just tapped into a random idea that has a real life counterpart. awesome piece

While I thank you for your imput, and already possess several of your fine patterns, we are looking for a more time to cost efficient rout right now. Im the one who sews, and between not having my sewing machine, and the cost of good fabric, we'd rather just purchase ready made garb.

I'll throw it to $150. Also, what the next Atlantian event that you are able to make after the end of the auction? If I end up winning, I could easily have it retrieved with no shipping hassles.

Re: Yardsale !!!
While the thought has crossed my mind, the answer is no. I am making a simple set of arms for a friend who just got authorized, and dosn't even have his own kit! these elbows are just what he needs.
And I do like elbow cops. Be 100% sure if someone puts some nice gothic couters up, they are mine.

Re: Throat slitting, decapitation and other macabre subjects
I am not remotely phased by descriptions of gruesome injury... but I am rather put off by the idea of a slaughter party though. Don't be. It's like a barn raising, only messier. Slaughtering a lot of animals cleanly and humanely always goes faster with more hands. Its just logical to expect that if...
