Freiman,

I don't know what kind of psychology Morrigan has with respect to fighting, but I sure wish I'd had this kind of advocacy when I was a "small, female, lefty fighter". It would have gone so differently, I have no doubt. Hats off to you for your effort on her behalf.

Please put me down for a pair of the turnshoes. I'll take a size 9-LADIES or a size 7-MENS, and hope I've sized up just right to match my actual US shoe size. :)

How are you collecting money?

Thanks,

Isn't Eadric the Potterer of Ironwood Pottery from your neck of the woods, Cian? His mugs are top-notch and historically documented, and he merchants at a ton of northern Atlantian events. All my pottery is from him. It is beloved. :)

Thanks Alcy, I do have that image. It was helpful to me at the time. Milan, they are more like running stitches, which go in-out, in-out, (where whip stitches go in-out-around-an-edge-in-out-around-an-edge) but they don't go in a straight line of stitching. The thread zigzags back and forth in a cre...

1410 Armet Liner, my interpretation

So Cet is making an early armet patterned after the Churburg one that's on the cover of Carlo's beautiful book . He commissioned me to make a liner in the historical fashion. I had the chance to examine a later burgeonet's liner while visiting Wade Allen and his wonderful collection a couple of year...

The Knowne World Party is Friday night after The Deed. We could meet up there so none of us would have to worry about the burdens of hosting. The challenge then is finding each other. That's a really unusual edge for a BP of this period, with or without the ambiguous muscle/quilting lines... I'll defer to others' knowledge on the shaping of breastplate edges, but what I meant was that the physical quality of the line looks like it's depicting something thin and rigid, not the ty...

I'm satisfied. I'm using the wreath. It'll be exiled out on the tail, separated from my arms and the populace badge by a motto. :D

If it is all by it self (a laurel wreath on a solid color background) people will know what it means. Anything else added to it and people will be asking "What group (Barnoy, Shire, etc) is that?" OK, so if I took the blue tyger and put the Laurel wreath around it, would it be unallowable...
