SCA LaCrosse Wisconsin

I know a guy in LaCrosse who thinks he would like to try SCA fighting. He comes from a martial arts background and thinks it looks fun. I found the local shire's website for him but it doesn't say anything that I saw about fighter practices. Do they have regular fighter practices and loaner gear? If...

Looking for Illumination

I'm trying to find an illumination that I've seen before. It's a battle scene with a knight on horseback, next to a castle. There's a sword in his visor and blood spraying.

Nah, the guy just ignored them because he wasn't going to take a shot from a peasant weapon. Besides, back of the head, obviously wasn't engaged.

Go to Walmart. You can get one new for that and with the nature of popups, I don't think I would buy one used. You might also check at Big Lots, you might be able to find one cheaper.

Any time someone lands a good shot on me, I find it somewhat unpleasant. It doesn't have to hurt to be good though. Sometimes the ones that hurt more are less unpleasant and more fun, maybe that's just me though.

From what I can see, he is working with Shane Adams, Knights of Valour, is coordinating the jousting, which would make sense as Shane started the WCJA and has run a number of very successful tournies. I think you are reading far more into it than exists. The way I read it, he asked Shane Adams for ...

Don't worry about femanizing it, she should be able to take care of that on her own. I've seen several women wear their husband's viking clothes, no doubt they're female, and it's kinda hot.

Before a fight, squaring off, etc. I am thinking about what I need to do, what I should do, and what I am going to do. Then I swing a stick. My brain turns off. I have wo...
