i think the 90' thing is kingdom by kingdom. It's absolutely useless as a rule, btw. As You can floor someone with a polearm if you do it right and only have a 90' swing. If you are doing it right you need about 10 inches. If you're doing it right you don't need that much. Did I just say that out l...

Daithi', I knew that Sunflash wasn't your preferred name but it was the one whose spelling I was sure of without hitting back and looking to one of your posts. My appologies for the laziness. I hope you do make it back for Estrella. I saw you a couple of times but never when it was too convenient to...

I'm more of a helmet pervert than a helmet whore. I have one. I have plans to get one more in the forseeable future. There are four others that I would buy this second if I had a load of cash. In the mean time, I look at them on the internet. I look at them on other people while trying not to get bu...

I commented more against those that are ALWAYS fishing for CA incidents. And I am sorry but Atenveldt is the hot bed against CA so I question the motives. I appreciate both your implication that I am always fishing for CA incidents, which is not true but believe what you will, and your stating the ...

Gulf wars archery
I heard there were two instances of CA "arrows" penetrating grills, one to the point of painfully making contact with an eye.

OK, I got tired of waiting and went to the other thread to see the missing ones. It was ridiculously close between two and even as I type this, I'm wavering between them. More often than not, 16 comes out ahead. Of II's similar ones, the black anvil with white looks better to me than black on a whit...

What kind of music do you listen to? Don't give me a generic answer if you can avoid it but be fairly specific. I don't have an insane library, but it's not horrible and has some music in several genres that can raise the ass kicking desire. I can make suggestions or even send you a CD. Listen to it...

As to whether it's worth it, only you can truly answer that. The time and effort between using plastic or using leather/metal is basically the same. It really boils down to what you want and how much you can spend. I know several people who use plastic lamellar and say that it gives good protection,...

I think the brass was added to give the effect of a churburg globose #13, but the shape of steel reminds me of a plastron/curaissier (think Napoleonic era). It's possible someone modified a bad indian replica plastron. It doesn't look like a bad breastplate (and the plastron being wider at the top ...
