It is a go at some of Churburg ch 13- the breatplate, that is, the spauldiers are made to match, but the original has none (extant anyhow).
I was hoping it was a bit better than that but am not too surprised. I discounted churburg because it wasn't very globose.

Thank you all for the information and pictures. Next phase of the question is whether or not I was right on the time frame. Also, geographically, where would this be from?

She might well end up doing that. She's kind of after something unique and cool and while she is actually excited by the impending bruises, she also likes to look like a girl.

14th Century fighting females

A while back I asked for suggestions for a feminine look for fighting for my daughter. She was interested in doing early period Norse. Cunian suggested this , which she liked the idea of. Last night that all changed. A friend of ours, who changed her mind about fighting hardsuit, gave her a breastpl...

Hard to tell scale in something like that, but basing of nose, eys, and mouth, I would say that the trim is about 1", the sword belt looks more like 1 1/2" with the thinner belt being about 1/2"-3/4", probably no larger than 5/8" really. I doubt the artist was measuring thou...

I didn't mention Cat because the last time I talked to her about them, she said that she was done with bosses at least until she got a larger forge. That may have changed by now.

Use it. While some of them might use the symbol, they don't have ownership of it, nor do I see it as a symbol that is associated with them even if it is used by some of them. AFAIK, those of them who use it, do so as a symbol of their Odinism, not their racial beliefs anyway.
