I don't want to do local scrolls. I only want to do the scrolls for large kingdom level awards multi-kingdom events. It's not fair to change the parameters in rebuttal to bias the comparison the other way. How many times do CAers show up at local fighter practices to shoot people? In a word, foul. ...

I want to do illuminations, they look cool as hell. I want to get laurelled for my incredible illuminitory skills. I want every other scroll in the world to have been done by me. That would make me feel all sorts of warm and fuzzy. The only problem I have is that I'm not an artist. Not even close. ...

Letting a person onto the field of honorable combat, who has no interest in participating in honorable combat, changes the form of the combat. In my opinion, if archery is what someone wants to do, they can. If melee is something they want to do they can. The two activities can easily be kept separa...

If those don't work out size wise for you, what I did was make some hose shorts. Got some basketball shorts from walmart, sewed lines up them about an inch apart. Cut the inside lining at the top to make tubes, cut sections of a garden hose and dropped them in the tubes. Great protection. You can st...

I have tried to call them 5 times now and get an answering machine every time except the last time where I talked to the wife of the owner when I tried to explain what is going on she cuts me off saying " I don't know anything about that stuff " and that she'll pass on the message .... I ...

Aten Crown list
It would probably save a lot of time just to list those who are not fighting crown this time, but here it is. The only error I see is that Lord Gawin Nordmann, is Sir Gawin Nordmann as of Grand Court at Estrella. I'd be interested in Dark Apprentice's take, I have no clue. It will be fun to watch th...

I didn't catch the name although the King of Caid gave an award to him in Grand Court (I think it was him anyway) so that he would always be in their OP and not forgotten. The war was great although the cold/wet/slurpy got a bit old. Between the in-camp warmups, The Outlands Party, And some revelry ...

We have a rather large hub-and-spoke pavilion, with a ~2' diameter hub, which is ~8' from the ground. I cut a cardboard ring which fits on top of the hub, and glued 16 little plastic tea light type fake candles to it. These are wired in parallel to a RadioShack battery box with 2D cells and a stand...

Cristophe, how far down into it does the rattan go and does it just have a single bolt through it? It doesn't look like it would be very secure.
