Someone a while back, possibly even brfore The Great Rollback of Ought Eight, was talking about a celtic domed structure. Seems like is was either T.Finkas, or Saritor. Seems like it was wattle and daub construction which is not super friendly for packing and unpacking

Benefits of Compact Fluorescents: -More natural spectrum of light (not as nice as some incandescents but better then LEDs and old fluorescent lighting). I'm still trying to get my head around this. When using shields at the barrier convert to blows attempted instead of received. Keeps the time and energy committed to it down but allows people who REALLY are attached to their shield to participate. I'd ditch the shields, personally, the spirit of a deed isn't really about accommodating everyon...

Don't know what size you're after but Windrose will do whatever size round you want and curve it for an extra $8.

I'd be all over this in a heartbeat but for two things. The first being $2k in truck repairs today, the other being that an Atzinger sword and scabbard with my kit would look like a diamond on a pile of crap. If somebody doesn't jump on this really fast, I'm not going to be able to resist though.

The only problem with that is that aluminum is closer to period than fiberglass and epoxy. Doesn't look as period, or as sexy for that matter. I disagree. Cloth and glue is cloth and glue be it linnen and gesso or glass fiber and polyester ( or whatever resin V uses). And metal is metal, whether it...

It sounds like a fun scenario, but I'm not sure it would be run as scripted either. If the defenders don't just hunker down early, and get flanked, the attackers get past. Then they're into the town and castle virtually unmolested. For it to work as desired the majority of the time, the field would ...

Gorilla tape

I asked a question in the gaffer vs. duct tape thread that went unanswered by the people who had brought up Gorilla Tape. So umm, I guess bump. I bought a roll of Gorilla tape and have done a couple of swords with it. Being thicker and more stiff than duct tape, I have trouble getting it to lay down...
