I appologize for my tone and for pissing you off. Mornings and posting don't always work out well for me. It wasn't intended as an attack but in rereading it I can see it being taken as such. That aside, in rereading both the post that I quoted, and your explanation, it still sounds to me like you a...

And not in an adversarial position, nor as a supplicant. My wife was the Society Seneschale. And I couldn't get ...

Artemisia is the same, light thrust to the face and lighter hit to the face is considered a kill, since by SCA standards we are supposedly wearing open faced helms :) Max Max has the right of it. By kingdom stan...

I'm guessing Ibn Fadlan stopped for some curry on his way to hang out with the Rus and picked the Buddha up in a gift shop. There was A buddha statue found, not multiples of them. It is IIRC believed to be northern Indian in origin, not Chinese and all it definitively shows is that a Swede had contact with someone who had contact with India (although the chain of someones could be longer or shorter). Well there are finds...

Review Torvaldr - Armour and more

At Estrella, I picked up my gorget as well as one I got made for my nephew from Torvaldr. The quality and general awesomeness are what I expected based on my Torvaldr gauntlets. The fit is even better. I've never had a gorget on that didn't make me feel like I was being choked until this one. There ...
