Even with the chevron, that's a lot of green on red and black. Do you think it will make it through? Probably not without a German name and a lot of documentation. As to the coloration of proper, I have no idea what proper would be for a wyvern. It could well be green body/red belly like the dragon...

Re: coif into aventail?
Konstantine
Calder, the odds of the coif, which was made to go over a bare head, fiting over a helmet and grill are pretty slim.

Because too many people don't give a shit. Throw a tabard on over jeans and a t-shirt. It's an attempt. I'll spare you the 5 minute rant that is trying to force its way out, but there's the answer to your question.Greenshield wrote:Tell me again why we in the SCA can't look more period on the field??

This is one I did for some friends for a crown list. The swinger of Gugnir, Looked upon wolf-feeders. The need was seen for one, To overshadow all. To lead the Einherjar, Against hordes of Jotun, None with point more mighty, No one more nobly loved. The one eyed all-father, Did each Aesir consult. F...

Bar grills generally give better vision and airflow, closed face generally looks cooler. Beyond that, it really is personal preference. Most people have very little experience with wearing a big metal hat, so anything you wear is going to feel top heavy for a while. Your neck will strengthen and you...

All bullshit rant talk asside... I'd like to see hjalmr fix Ingvarr's friends helm issue. Unless all you can do is rant away and bitch at the circumstances hjalmr. Cause, thats exactly what its looking like you are doing. The guy dropped it and replaced the helmet. Hjalmr may well have taken care o...

We communicated via PM, not email or I would have it. I don't think the helmet was supposed to be stainless although it was supposed to be 14ga. It miced at 16ga. The guy who bought it from you contacted you and told you about it denting. You told him that there was nothing wrong with the helmet who...

Might believe you if it wasn't me who contacted you. Doubt I still have the PMs but this is about the same attitude I got from you at the time. There was no chance that you made a mistake even though he had to wait extra time for his helmet since you had mailed it to someone else and they had to sen...

I directed a new guy to him. The helmet he got was pretty substandard. There was some confusion in shipping because through a fluke, someone with the same last name ordered at the same time. Hjalmr got pretty argumentative about it being made of different material than he claimed. Unless he found a ...
