Come get some (was Need some...)

On the tenth day of October in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and thirty-five was brought into this world a giant among men. I speak not of his stature but of his impact on those who were touched by him. Never have I met person who knew him without having been deeply affected by him. This man...

They are reliable. I know them personally and they are great people. If they say they have it in stock, that's exactly what it means. They are a business, not a hobby. They had a brick and mortar in Tucson but I believe they closed and just do online now.

Aesa, you guys should come to Estrella. We have fun, not lawyers. This is some of the most ridiculous crap I've heard and another check in the "Reasons I don't really care about going to Pennsic" column. Sir Vitus, even when I don't agree with what you say, I can generally see your side of...

Battle of Lake Peipus

I was talking with a friend about doing something at Estrella, loosely based on Pennsic's COTT. He suggested the Battle of Lake Peipus which is mid 13th century Rus vs Teutonic Knights. Going for a moderately high appearance standard for both kit and weapons. Are you planning on going to Estrella, a...

It's a yahoo.com email address. Odds are that 50 years after you die of old age, the address will still be valid. Doesn't mean that he ever looks at it. I would be really surprised if he did.

I'm not a pitbull hater at all. Your comment came off as snarky at least and it struck me as funny since a thread that started on something specific and turned into a general pile-on was what initially brought you here.

Looking at the background stuff, I'm thinking it might be family business of selling stuff, possibly storage auctions or so, so the kid in the picture might not have anything to do with the armor other than modeling it. Either way, I've seen a hell of a lot worse on the field, it's neither blue nor ...

Fight, don't fight. Only you can answer that. It sounds like you had your answer before you asked the question but who knows. Keep in mind that you will get hit a lot more frequently in one on ones than you will in melee. I would advise authorizing and giving pensic a shot, just so you know what you...

One person knows how your helmet fits on your ear. He should be able to answer your question.

If you can wear your helmet comfortably, I don't see any reason at all why it should keep you from fighting.

[derail]II, take them apart and soak them in alcohol, or buy some ink solvent. If you can find someone with an ultrasonic cleaner, even better. Dried out pens used to be pretty common and are not too difficult to clean up and get back to full functionality.[/derail]

I brought this up a few years ago and got some decent suggestions. The way I planned(still do actually) to try was this.
