Re: 24 Hr. Auction:Hardened Stainless Steel Elbows

I've got a pair of slightly oversize and slightly mismatched hardened stainless steel elbows (RA410) for sale. I made them while working out the pattern for them. They are a direct reproduction of Master Glendor's pattern. Image Links (they are big): Pic 1 http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s294/ru...

The site was authored by Norman Finkelshteyn (I'm probably misspelling that). He used to be on the AA. His site is very extensive. It would be very useful to have someone here who is knowledgeable about Central Asian armor and its reconstruction to give an opinion on the armor. Is there historical ...

Drew, a point for consideration might be that the pattern archive is also on a different server, one that is accessible when the forums are down, also they were spared from the big delete....

there are many things on the front page that have not been updated in 6 years or so.

Intriguing setup. I've only used forges with the bellows blowing air in from the bottom. Is there any problem getting a nice deep fire with the side blown bellows? In any case I love the elegant simplicity of it all. I've been told that side blast forges are the ticket when you have dirty coal, cli...
