I don't think this is it, but either the ROM museum in Toronto or the Met in NYC has a beautiful lion helm, can't remember which I saw it in but... anyway there are animal helms out there whether your a SCAer or a "historic". Anyway, hope the attachments work and if they do by the way the...

For the armour what would change if it was made minus the ridges all over (fluting??). First the articulated plate arms& legs do not go with the lammilar in any way, hosen, or winnigas on your lower legs, & turn shoes or other period equivalent.

Oh, and as for the conical you posted, I personally would go with this: m From soulpad, you will have a ton more room. I know you said you wanted the conical for the period value, but, honestly, if you are just starting out into the medieval encampment, I would be looking at more bang for the buck....
