Duke Eduard was blinded by a broken rapier blade that penetrated his mask and severed his optical nerve. Hmmmn. Good price, but could you make them either to take a 1.25" wooden connector-shaft and tip (as HE sells), or make a step-down connector so they'd take a socket and tip?

If it was quilted and had buckles on it, wouldn't it be an arming cote instead of a surcoat? An arming coat is a foundation garment; a surcoat is by definition an over-layer. Not necessarily. I'm looking for a well-fitted, sturdy (and hip-length) surcoat I can strap my helmet to. Obviously I'd sew the buckles on myself.
