Looks good man! Now you need a nice armet. I thought it looked very homogenous for having 4 different fellows working on it. Very impressive, you may want to upgrade the rerebraces and vambraces someday, but I wouldnt be in a hurry. I think they look very nice. Not quite the level of workmanship as t...

I agree with flonzy, Swords with dulled edges and rounded tips are about the only "safe" weapons.Maces and polearms hit to stinken hard. You might try rubber heads, but believe it or not those rubber headed maces seem it hit harder than a steel sword. A rubber headed mace is the ONLY thing I ever fel...

Wow, this sounds like fun. I've wanted to see something like this for a long time. And I'm sure it can be done in a fairly safe manner. I've done SCA and used rebated swords "SCA style" with Murdoch full force(at least the same force used with rattan). Two handed swords at that! LOL. You DO have two...

Yes by all means have your neck looked at.Any pain in the one or both arms? If so, you may have a ruptered disk.No fun there. If a lighter helm is what you need, A pembridge style helm in spring might work.Pretty good visability through the breaths and occulars.

On second thought, considering how thin he can make some of the plates, it might be as light as 40-45 lbs. Most arm and leg plates are about 21 gauge, with 19 gauge cops. The 14th cent arms and legs he made me were 19 gauge throughout, because he ran out of the 21 gauge at the time, and weighed a tota...
