I think the period leas portrayed is the Late Crusasdes era.

the armour is too expensive to do properly for the SCA and most dont like fighting in closed face helmets.

Usually at the same site.....

traditionally the Middle holds its Kingdom A&S compettion the same long weekend as Crown ( may 30th) with the A&S on Sat. and the Tourney on Sunday.
