The key is that Japanese armour was designed for ONE catastrophic failure....after that the wearer was vulnerable....one good slash and the armour no longer did its job...but Japanese warfare was VERY ritualized so the armour fit the style of fighting. I went through the videos you mentioned in slow motion and regular speed and I for one cant see ANY thing wrong on either video, nor is Duke Logan...
