damn people.....he's looking into things and re-evaluating what can and cant be done...but for now....we go with his interpretation....He's the boss and that's the way life goes.

Go out and play by the rules we have now, until there is a determination about this one way or another.

you can fing them in home depot.
They are the flat fiberglass supports for chain link fence.

I used a stacked set of these to power the X-bow I made for my wife. It works just fine.

Can a "living history" person enlighten me?

If there are examples of armour polished to a high gloss in period, why would polished stainless not be acceptable?

Its just as "wrong" in composition as mild steel in comparison to period metals...

it is shoe Crepe used for making shoe soles and platform shoes...
It is really stiff and very tough and can be cut into complex shapes without losing its stiffness.

You can get it through any shoe repair store.
