I believe a veil is appropriate, but is a barbette also correct this early? A wimple? A veil with a circlet? I found this: m But I am still...

I always wanted to make a full grilled helmet and then cover it up with a realistic looking latex mask just to see everyones reaction when I walk out to fight with apparently no helmet on -especially the marshals. Lol.. (^_^) There is no end of choices! Samurai Hair!!!!! http://www.japanesegift.jp/...

It is an excellent design, but I prefer to keep my armour inside of the tent at events, and that meant lifting the flooring in a corner. I have used it since he first posted the thread here in the AA a couple of years ago. I liked the welded steel base because I can use the same stand that D. design...

Base for armor rack/stand
Just found this online. Excellent with D. Sebastian's quick armour stand from a couple of years ago. SUPER MINIMALIST HELMET: the no-helm helm.

<snip> Malcolm I can really identify with you in this story. I've been the last guy alive in a melee and had the enemy army line up to come and face me one by one , my comrades on the sidelines cheering with each man I defeated, until the enemy brought me down. I imagine if somebody had used me as ...

Adric, Sorry I am just looking at this. If you are offering Chitons, make sure to get together with Thorthor to link up the appropriate pins or fibulae that should be worn with these. The styles change over time, but if you stitch shoulders, you should hide the stitches with the appropriate pins. My...

Chinese armour
I know. I need to stop watching Red Cliff...
But in the meantime, has anyone ever made any Chinese armour?
Just curious...
(Don't worry Sir Graedwyn, Armour is not jealous, I'll be at Hastings all ready to go and speaking Middle French!!!)

This thread is about looking at an aspect of SCA culture that I FIND DUPLICITOUS, and that is alot of SCA guys either think that they haven't done any of this stuff (delusional), or are comfortable with the fact that knowbody knows that they have done this stuff.
