I would tend to agree in particular with the last sentence by HG Logan, Nothing against the merchant. On the contrary. Nevertheless, a method to make similarly sized and safe tips from scratch, or principles of manufacture should exist as well to avoid the appearance of playing favorite to a single ...

Re: Hexpads for Legs?
Anyone have any experience using Hexpads from McDavid for their legwear? Seems like a good deal and protective, but I wonder if the foam alone would be enough to prevent big welts. Anybody ever used these or have any experience with them? Thanks! m I wear the very similar Crashpads in the hockey sh...

Gwen, I know this is blasphemy, but have you considered adding some hidden Velcro to your Winingas? I have a pair and I have the Polo wraps as well, and frankly, the velcro closure makes a world of a difference in the fit and whether they stay in place. I know it is abhorrent and all that, but when ...

Takeyama is being kind enough to review this and think whether he can/would/feelslike considering doing this. I realized I mostly go unarmed at events and I am a fighter after all. True I can bore people to death, but that takes time. The issue is also cost, as I still have some lingering family exp...

Can any of you guys make me a sword by stock removal without killing me money wise? (am I wishing for the impossible?) Grinding it from a piece of spring leaf is fine. Chinese polearm question
Has anyone ever made an SCA Guan Dao? http://www.tao-distribution.com/contents/media/dadao-02.jpg Would this fall under the rules as a polearm like a Halberd? I seem to recall that Baron Alcy fought with one at some point. I'd love to see a pic of his kit when he did... Thanks! Glaukos

I think a Gladius is exactly what he has in mind. If you recall his previous postings.
Nice looking blanks. My only concern would be strength at the narrowest point, otherwise, very nice looking.

Josh, Pitbull makes -if you ask him- lightweight C belts that are easier on the hips than the heavy duty ones, yet they are excellent support for lighter legs.
