fabric-store.com (and other online retailers) usually list the thicknesses Yes, but is there a way to find out in a store? Joanne's is great, but I run into the same problem Kyle does, and none of the employees know -where- the linen is, much less what its ounce weight is. Edit: Hell, what website ...

Well I will certainly say that I stand corrected. Again, I've never seen any of his helms in person that I liked, but I will certainly say that a lot of the ones posted here look great. So again, I stand corrected. On a side note, I never said anything about his other work. I have a good bit of armo...

You know...I think there are basically three kinds of situations where a shot doesn't get taken that the thrower thinks should be. #1) There is a legitimate problem. Armor bunched, or it is more protective than the wearer thought, or the stick broomed, or it was low and the thrower thought it was a ...

Linen thickness?
Hey guys, when ordering linen to fight in I've generally heard 5-7 oz linen is what you should aim for, and closer to 7 for fighting attire.
Would you guys generally agree?

I like Bokalo, I think he has a lot of great products and is a pretty cool guy. But his helmets have always looked like ass. EDIT: I have been corrected by several in this thread and posted pics. Take a look at some of them, the helmets are pretty. Not some of the ones on his site, for what it's wor...

I'm sorry he might be ill, I'm sorry I lost the purchase price, in point of fact I'm sorry for a great number of woes that beset people in this world but I also know that he's has spent other people's money and it sounds like he's watching T.V. Couldn't agree with you any more. I'm only suggesting ...

Review of LinenGarb.com and Adric13.
So I got two pair of linen pants (the regular, non-Rus pants) from them. I tend to rip through fighting pants straight away and, as I live in Georgia, get them stained quickly. I've fought in these linen pants a couple of times and they have been great. They are linen so they breathe well. They are ...

Just as an aside, you may want to look into what fraud actually means. The short version is that he must have intentionally done it (by offering or withholding information or providing misleading info, etc.). I'll certainly admit that I could be wrong but it sounds like he tried to run a business an...

I've asked you several times in PMs...I'm still trying to get an answer from you. Can you give us a price list? There is no point in requests that you aren't interested in making (Such as an Italian Ren dress, fully embroidered, requested for $75. Obviously that wouldn't be worth your time.) Simple ...

So now you are just rubbing in that we don't have a bunch of snow and therefore our stores are open? Further, that our BBQ is better than that crap they make in Texas? And their football teams suck? And their women are not as pretty? And they aren't true Americans like the rest of us? Man...that's h...
