Wow this would be great to watch (and attend in person).

What days are you likely to do them? I'm assuming after the fighting finishes, on the pick-up field (the area roughly in front of the fort)?

fabric-store.com (and other online retailers) usually list the thicknesses Yes, but is there a way to find out in a store? Joanne's is great, but I run into the same problem Kyle does, and none of the employees know -where- the linen is, much less what its ounce weight is. Edit: Hell, what website ...

So again, I stand corrected. On a side note, I never said anything about his other work. I have a good bit of armo...

You know...I think there are basically three kinds of situations where a shot doesn't get taken that the thrower thinks should be. #1) There is a legitimate problem. Armor bunched, or it is more protective than the wearer thought, or the stick broomed, or it was low and the thrower thought it was a ...

Linen thickness?

Hey guys, when ordering linen to fight in I've generally heard 5-7 oz linen is what you should aim for, and closer to 7 for fighting attire.

Would you guys generally agree?

Review of LinenGarb.com and Adric13.

So I got two pair of linen pants (the regular, non-Rus pants) from them. I tend to rip through fighting pants straight away and, as I live in Georgia, get them stained quickly. I've fought in these linen pants a couple of times and they have been great. They are linen so they breathe well. They are ...
