OK, for the record... the mandrake hilt I had failed due to some excessive blows from an overzealous newbie, not due to any fault of the part. It was well made, and has served me for a couple years, and I will definitely recommend their products.

Oops, I was invoked and didn't notice...
I do weapons heads, never tried hilts though. I think they'd rip, but since my mandrake one is cracked, maybe I'll have a go till I can get a replacement...
