I loved the woods. Just like the playground back home... ;)
And to Bjorn... Atlantia defended one banner throughout the rattan woods ( I had the honor of standing with them) and one in the rapier woods, which we returned to His Majesty of the Middle. So I'd say they did pretty frikkin good... ;)

Domnall did mention his incident to me at the Archive gathering, and I recognized who it was. I discussed it with the guy, and he feels like shit... it was an accident.
If he wishes to pursue it further, he can contact me and I can put him in touch with either Master Pad or the gentle in question.

Agreed. "equivalent" specifically lists "chin cup suspension", which is what I'd call this... I'll check with Master Pad once I get to Pennsic though... Personally (as a marshal), I think the rule is intended so that the actual cup, not the cord, needs to be at least 1/2" wi...

There was a college kid at practice in his street clothes, bragging at the end of the night about what great shape he was in, and how many pushups he was doing every night. I told him to drop and start pushing earth... and smoked him while still in armour. Of course... I was doing the Hundred Pushup...

I meant safe to minimize dents, I'd go with 1 gauge thicker than required. Be aware, I'm not a rapier marshal... but I'm planning on a rapier helm in the near future, and that's what I'm going with.

I toss it on my shoulder and go... only weighs 45lbs or so total, I'd say. Have to weigh it to be sure.
