We have a small practice on Thursday nights in Yamhill, we'd love to have you (but let me before hand to be sure someone is there).

There is also a really good practice in Vancouver (Barony of Stromgard). It's a bit more of a drive, but worth it.

Currently it is a 26 Inch round centergrip (no straps currently just a handle) Also, a tip, folks in period almost always used an oval shaped handle. These days I use an ax or maul handle cut down to size. Rough-up the grip with sand paper so it isn't slippery. Mord. I used an axe handle on my late...

I particularly liked the glaive fight where you got the guy on his knees, then basically shoved him around by pushing his glaive with your glaive until finally wacking him on the side of the head. Awesome fighting videos, definitely worth the hassle I had to go through to see them. (got any of you f...

Nice helmet...

Have you ever thought about rivetting the bars to the inside of the cheekplates instead of the outside? That, and painting or blueing the bars black would do a lot in my opinion.

Would it be possable to cut the holes a little smaller? I plan on using braded sinew for the lacing. The lacing is 1/8th wide but would fit through a smaller hole than that. Heres the link to the sinew. m Thanks, Edward Try it if you want, but I would recommend against it. I made a suit of lamellar...

a little OT, but what's the best way of getting all the tape sticky off a stainless helm after it's been beaten a few too many times? after all, you can't even get a satin finish if it's covered in glue... I use nail polish remover and a cotton ball. Works ok, takes me maybe 15 minutes to do my helm.
