I use two straps, one going down the front line of the thigh, and the other going down the side. This enables me to make adjustments by loosening or tightening one of these straps (depending on what I am trying to correct). It also means that one strap blowout doesnt result in my leg armor sitting o...

One of the guys in my household is this freakishly tall taltos looking thing.. He would get legged and take "a step" as he was going down. Problem is, one of his "Steps" is like 5' long.. and then he would kinda slide as he landed to get a couple more feet. Nothing like legging someone and then havi...

I would say that the Bascinet is NOT the most worn helmet in An Tir at least... but then we got a lot of Norse types here. Personally, I think the look like crap without a visor on them, and I wouldnt want to fight in one WITH a visor on it. I think maybe one person wore one to our local practice on...

His Polearm gauntlets do provide enough protection on their own, thats kinda why I asked which ones you were lookin to ...

Brodir, I got my arms through the mail, but the deal was set up through a mutual friend. Which gauntlets were you looking at? He has a couple of different patterns that work fairly well (again, I have fought in gauntlets made from his pattern for 10+ years - altho these didnt actually come from Rolf...

Make the pickel barrel armor yourself. You can make everything you need from the neck down out of a plastic barrel.
