Kettle helms; I'm assuming this needs a welder, yes? I have a friend who's getting back in after a few years hiatus and I wanted to surprise him with a helm.

Which is just exactly the reason I moved. I have a hard enough time wearing armor up here during the summer where it almost never gets hotter than 75 or so... Lol, I hear ya -- I'm actually planning a move north this fall for the very same reason. Still, some people actually enjoy tropical weather....

Actually, I really wanted to know what dates the kettle helm was usable through. I realize that we had previous threads on kettle helms in general but the Search isn't working for me.

Just curious what everyone totes their armour around in.

I had a hockey bag that I used to carry mine in but it's on its last legs, so to speak, as most of the zippers are blown out and a there are a few strategically placed holes from overstuffing it.

So, what do you use? Where did you get it?

Need a pair of basic stainless quisses, no beels or whistles needed, made for a skinny legs; I'm talking 135lb skinny.
Munitions grade is fine, satin finish is definitely preferred.

I recently commissioned a stainless plackart and faulds from Dave Rylak at Rough from the Hammer and I couldn't be more pleased. Dave is super quick on communication.
