I know it can be dyed with a darker color, at least I've dyed brown suede black, as it's not sealed.

Re: Pennsic Pas d'Armes?
Well we know that the Company of St Michael is gearing up for one next year.
With that said there's no reason why there couldn't be another one too. I believe they traditionally do theirs earlier in the week.

Combat of the 30 - Declaration of Sides
I know something was started for a one side quite a few months back but I thought since we're roughly four weeks out we might want to start declaring our sides and talking the smack-eth.

As an aside; many guys who are doing the divided hosen of the mid to late 14th C make them *way* to short. This is one of the identifying characteristics of what I call the "Planet -14th-Century" look. This is a topic that Tasha and I discussed at length last Pennsic. I also personally we...

Update - The breastplate is still available. Have a few things I want to get rid of. First up: 1) Breastplate I made to look pretty in the Combat of the 30 at last years Pennsic. It's actually suede-covered leather and not metal, about 10 oz leather covered by a purple 2-3oz suede. It'll take sting out of shots but that's about it, it's more f...

Looking for splints in kydex, aluminum or stainless -- not really particular just need something that'll be going under my splinted legs. Need 8 of them, 7-8" long. The cheaper the better.
Thanks!
