WTB - Brigandine neck plates
Might seem like an odd request but I was hoping there was someone that might have aluminum or stainless plates for a brigandine gorget.
I can do the leatherwork myself, I simply need the plates.

Splinted Cuisses usage dates?
I'm moving my kit from 1340's to as late as I can in the 14th century, so I was wondering how late I could get away with my splinted quisses? Eventually I'll have to switch out but, for now, just wondering. I looked at Galfrid's effigies but I'm starting to go a little cross-eyed after a half an hou...

I used Fall Creek Suttlery for my wedge tent and couldn't have been happier. I think they actually delivered BEFORE the date given. Inexpensive too.

Suzerain, your apologies are completely unnecessary, as it seems as though you've provided me a veritable treatise to ponder over! I base my persona on late 14th (1380-1400) English, so I'm not sure if I'm again being too broad or is that helps narrow it down a bit more. I'm going to reread your res...

Longsword lengths?
What's a good, standard length for a 14th century longsword? I want my SCA weapon to be more along the lines of a typical longsword length but I'm unsure as to what length best constitutes this. Also, the longsword is, for all intents an purposes, a hand-and-half- sword, yes? These may seem like ove...

Like the subject line says; Hanwei Practical Longsword or something similar. Used is fine. Blunted, please.

Review of Hammerbreaker
I just got my greaves in from Mikael at Hammerbreaker. Whoa. Pardon the Keanu Reeves moment but that's exactly what I said when I opened the box. I contacted Hammerbreaker roughly the third week of November, looking for some greaves after a pic of a pair I saw here on the Archive. Sent funds Novembe...

That is the only problem with CotT, you have to be either English or French... Maybe the rest of us could join forces and just kill all the survivors.... Lol, no need. There were quite a few different nationalities of mercenaries attached to the main forces, if memory serves. EDIT - Disregard. I th...

Galfrid, that's amazing work and exactly of the style I was looking to make. Do you happen to have any other pictures of it that you'd like to share? Hey Lucian, there isn't much else to see, its a pretty straightforward piece. If you're curious about a particular part I could try to snap some othe...
