well, if you can do your soupcan knees and elbows in 18 g with leather cuises, demi greaves, vambraces, & rarebraces, we can talk. I had you do a aventail for me about five years ago and it was a good experience. I really don't buy armor, I enjoy creating patterns and recreating period pieces that l...
just my two cents, for what it's worth. We keep one of the boys shod front and rear (19 yo off the track tb) one goes barefoot, always has and will till the farrier says he needs shoes ( 7 yo clyde-tb X ) and my late hanoverian went with fronts only in the summer, and barefoot in the winter. all thr...
sorry guys, I still have the rail, but try contacting me by email at cpeck@ncweb.com. I can check my email alot more often than the board. I apologize, I should have made that point clear origanaly

actually the lengths i have are about 16 inches long. I believe they are the ends of the rails used when the bridge cranes were originally installed. Yeahm, drool youguys, two ten ton bridges and a 25 ton and a 75 ton bridge. anyways, it's 85# rail, never used. ------------------ Johnathon pax, pax,...
I was trashing a bunch of old tooling this week at my day job (heavy steel fabrication) when i ran across a number of lengths of railroad rail. I've been working there more than seven years and never knew that crap was up there! Anyone want a chunk? Anyone want a chunk that's now anvil shaped? Anyon...
the fighting was great on my end too. was my first time at lillies, and am hoping to make it again next year. I camped and fought with the golden sea marines, awsome bunch of guys. good thing I like drambuie.
Well, for Syr Theo, Milecent, Lyonette, Lubeck (you got my steak boy?) and the rest of the cleftland peeps; the cleveland group does in fact come off as unfriendly in a lot of ways. You folks tend to talk to your buds that you see every week and not much at all to the people who only can get out onc...
I'm looking for someone to do a bit of silver work for my brand spankin' new 2003 100th anniversery fat boy. Anyone interested? Looking for celtic knotwork detailing on all kinds of piecesparts. I know lots of guys here do casting and the like, so how about it? ------------------ Johnathon pax, pax,...

well, the best reason ive heard for the english driving on the left is that the romans started that tradition, and we in the americas drive on the left because of teamsters in teh colonies walking along with the team (which one does on the left side of the team) and passing each other left side to l...
matt, can you give me exact dimensions/plan views/ect.?? i'm in the heavy steel fabricaton industry, probably can do what you need done. that way you wont have to pay a set up fee or anything like that.
well, i work for a major steel fabricator, we make chassis and other such assemblies for heavy vehicles, mainly fire trucks. everything we do is powdercoated. And as luck would have it, i manage the finishing dept. Powdercoating sucks worse than paint for armor. yes it is tougher than wet coat paint...
oh yeah, be reasonable and polite about it when I'm trying to be self rightous about the whole thing, Vitus. Actually, when he starting whining a bit too much, I said something like 'sorry if I missed something, I never heard you say anything' and formed back up with my unit. If I had stayed around ...
at baron wars here in ohio this weekend, I was fighting glaive and swept in on the exposed flank of another unit, gacked one spear and moved into his sidekick (armed with a glave) cut him once, he didnt fall down, cut him again, he didnt fall down, cut him low, he falls to his knees, two more shots ...

guys, there's an easier way for an apartment dweller to rig a stand for a set of beavers than bolting the thing to the floor. just bolt the post to a piece of .5" plywood big enough to stand on while you cut (this includes both feet at the same time) If you and the B2 are on the same piece of floor ...
ouch, and I thought that we were trying to help new peeps look better. But then again, right now as I type this I can scroll up about two inches and there is a banner add from a merchant (won't say armorer, fingers will jump off my hands, and thats's real bad for a trumpet player with gigs booked th...

sounds more like a dead spot than a funky glance. anyways, heres what i would do in the meantime... take the shot your opponant thinks was good. it doesnt matter if it felt good or not. its just a game, youre not losing anything but possibly the respect of your peers. once i got the big E in a tourn...
looking for a minimal dog collar style gorget. gotta placate the marshal, you know. my present one (in steel) bumps against the bottom of my bascinet and it's really annoying. with the welded 1/4" aventail, the gorget isn't really needed, hence the minimal dogcollar. preferably in leather. ok, leath...
