i fight sca, and the part that lways gets crunched the worst on plywood shields is the leading edge/upper corner. this is probably due to the disproportionate number of really quick hard whacking lefties i fight around here. i dont think anything is worse for chewing up shields than a lefty swingin'...

looks to me like you need to go with high definition plasma.
