hi there

I use a 7 1/2 hp baldor 3 phase buffer that never stalls and you can use the cottons wheels to a nub. as the wheel get smaller the necessary pressure to polish goes up.

a little expensive but if you make quite a bit of armour its well wrth it.

DO NOT USE STEEL RIVETS do not use copper coated steel rivets. either of these will rust your cop out. the rust will affect the material it is riveted into. I would reccommend small copper rivets and burs. if you use leather any where and need rivets... copper is the safest rivet to use. aveloc fou...

holy smokes....

straightening rattan is easy.

all you need is a piece of pipe.... use a chain link fence. a 2" 3ft pipe guage sunk into the ground.

put the rattan in the pipe and pull. overbend it and it will straighten out.

its easy. rattan straightens out with no problems.

gas mig is worth every penny for armouring.

trimix on stainless and mild is spectacular.

gas shielding is worth your time and money if you are going to be productive. a few pieces and its not wortj it but if you are going to make more than that than get a mig and use gas shielding.
