one possible reason: in extended use... my early sets of legs made eight years ago have some stretching brass rivets and some have almost been cut through due to repeated use. my first set used copper rivets and are still in use today. solution: rearticulate and send them back out. -----------------...

hey roperwhitneys are supposed to be used backwards. mount then on a piece of U beam and reverse the handle. then slide ubeam end into big vise. attatch bungee cord for assisted automatic return and life becomes a whole lot easier. will post pics when I return from eventing later this weekend ------...

hi there in the past I have been shot with bird blunts and forced to wear screening if I was going to be able fightin a war(an tir) there have been dangerous situations in the past and dangerous weapons used. I personally worry that with shafted arrows... someone will forget to remove the metal targ...

hi there nice work. a suggestion: put a 2nd tang on the back plate opposite the top tang. will give you much more stability and durability when hilt blocking or pressing/hooking shields. for your next feat try 18ga cp1 titanium. its hammer workable with a little work and will work with that pattern....

hi there demiplate. it means you use a demigauntlet and a low profile shield basket instead of a hockeyglove. the demigauntlet is padded under the plate that covers the back of the hand instead of padding the shield which would be difficult using period materials.
