I just picked up 22lbs from boeing surplus. part conversion is happening this evening.

I have plenty of heavier plate stock so no probelm on vam plates.

hi your grace ok I am a bit confused. that little bit of padding is all you have? do you wear a sweatshirt or some type of padding to keep the metal from rubbing on you? Ti really needs to be professionally welded due to the fact that it is a helium/oxygen sponge at high temperatures I think you ment nitrogen, helium is an inert/noble gas. you are correct. I carry a copy of my kingdom's combat rules and the society mins for just this type of situation.
