Wolfgar, that's why I like An Tir! http://www.armourarchive.org/ubb/smile.gif Well said, Cheval and Logan. If a thrust makes your head swim, it's too hard. If it pops your head back, it's fine. The SEM says we have to take positive force touches. Fine. I agree with cheval's point, but -- fine, those...

Can't see in the pictures to well, but isn't edging awesome? I did it on mine (in red), and it makes the kit stand out so much more.

Too late now, but for future reference, lamellar overlaps upwards..

Sorry, Urien, your response was boorish, malinformed, and completely out of line. On the subject at hand -- I just dislike non-contact participants in a contact sport. Can we maybe call it "plastic fanatic" or "lightness fanatic"? Funny story.. Once I was in a small mellee, similar to the one described above, and the other team outmaneuvered us. Very shortly I found myself facing 4 men and an archer -- one of the fighters may have been legged, but the odds were bad. The armoured combatants moved in to engage -- not quite givi...

I've actually come to expect that sort of thing.

I'd take it (first shaking my head at him in disbelief, most likely), and then make it a point to kill the archer over and over and over, in every battle. Just for kicks.

I am mean that way.

Cheval -- huh? Corkscrewing, as it was described to me, is walking around your opponent, and that is illegal. Stepping between the knees is referred to as "crossing the plane" and that is illegal as well. A few other Western kinks.. We are pretty serious about ankle support. Sneakers, running shoes,...
