Mine is strapped vertically, and I fight it like a buckler at range, moving it vertical when closing.

First thing I did was a Bocksten tunic. I finished the tunic off with sweatpants and Nikes.


To this date, the only thing I can do is a Bocksten Tunic. However, less so since my wife is awesome, except when she makes fun of my ability to remember seam allowance.

Sir Markus is back up and running with Ti gauntlet production. I tested out his mittens awhile back, and although I think that they are over protective, I did not run into the binding issues I had assumed would be there.

I helped a local guy make a set of Valsgaard splinted greaves and vambraces. The duck billed monster was a bit of a pain, but the rest of it is fairly easy to do as a home project. Trapezoids on a common strap.

I fight tourney with a WMA one with the bargrill.

Since it doesn't rock over far enough to make contact with my face, it's fine. If you are worried, you could do a padded coif.

I use a Makita that I bought years ago, and love it. I had to replace blades after about 5 years.
