(too small for me too comfortably use)... Andy Ward still sells the Stainless ones at 115 as of my conve...

I will attest for this design as well. I have never had any issues with this style of gaunt, and the thumbplate design has been my favorite. I fought poleweapon pretty exclusively for 6 years or so out here in AnTir and tended to block close to, or onto the hand, these were the most protective I cou...

A rigid basket or cup hilt with enough bars or plates to prevent ...

My halfswording bastard sword is all foam and rattan. For the crossbars, I split the rattan in half, shaved a half round in each side, as well as a slight bit of a dovetail in the stick itself, and put them back together, taping them to each other. I need to make another one soon. I will try to docu...

We had an event locally once that had a decently steep hill between the fighting area and the camping area. My wife and I started carrying water bott...

I saw those during a windstorm of around 60-70mph. My old pavilion became a nice blanket. The Past Tents rounds were doing just fine. Battened down the hatches and they didn't move. iirc, they were just staked down, no windline.

He had a bit of an issue fighting with His guard, usually getting into a fight, then going off to find another one. I ended up with him i...

...Fact is, I have a sheet of 12 ga. hot rolled medium steel that's sitting there and rusting. I was saving it for greaves and bracers.... Yeah, 12g would be far better in a helmet than on your arms and lower legs. If it is a true 16 gauge, and it fits away from your head, you might be able to get ...
