I have a wall tent as well (12x14x5). The way I set mine up was using conduit. With using junctures for the longer runs, I have no pole longer than 5 feet. This fits into the back of my VW Golf.

I bought my corner junctions from a local guy who sells them for 125 or so a set.

In looking through the wallace catalog, I figured out (and later had confirmed) that the lengths mentioned for swords in the catalog are usually blade lengths. Many are in the 31"-33" range. Add around 4 inches for the hilt, and you should be in around 36". I can't remember where it's...

I will attest for this design as well. I have never had any issues with this style of gaunt, and the thumbplate design has been my favorite. I picked the helm up a couple of days ago. It's pretty tough, I put it on a head cast & took a couple of shots at it. No ill effect. One shot to the side hit it on one of the claws (I know because it left a claw imprint on the stick) I just hit it with everything I had & it stung my hand. F...

You could add a plate for the area most commonly hit (above brow line on the head). If you put a lot of weight only high, the helmet can rock quite badly when hit high. You may want to add some weight low to counteract that.

I saw those during a windstorm of around 60-70mph. My old pavilion became a nice blanket. The Past Tents rounds were doing just fine. Battened down the hatches and they didn't move. iirc, they were just staked down, no windline.
