Oh sorry, the Egg armory stuff. I covered mine in fabric and they didn't look too bad. I replaced the joint pieces though because the plastic ones were just huge and crappy.

It's hard to really make a living but I think it's very doable to do something on the side, small, within reason and still make a little and have a good time doing it.

First off, what Piers said - don't. Those on the chivalric path should not soil their hands with tradesman's work. Secondly, the things you say (or have said in the past) on other forums will affect your business. Your personal behavior and your professional behavior are not separate - espec...

I don't run an armoring business but I try to do my banner stuff by similar principles. Always make sure you have supplies in advance. Don't be tempted to take more orders than you can complete in a reasonable amount of time. Communicate! It's my experience that most people are pretty understanding ...

I'd read through the whole thing and do some research before you get your heart set on anything. My opinion has always been that simple is usually better looking. And in the submission rules you can only do so much with it anyway. If you don't have a herald local, I can help you put the paperwork to...

A period type liner could be used in conjunction with something like Sorbothane or Neoprene, cut in strips and placed in strategic locations like the temple and occipital ridge. This would seem to give the best of both worlds. I intend to give this a try with my bascinet. This is my plan if I need ...

Plaque belt closures.

I'm carving the plaques for a belt to go with my kit, but I am a bit stumped on the enclosure part. For belts that were hinged, or the ones like the Black Prince effigy where the buckle looks solid, what method did they use for enclosure? I kinda sifted through some of the Archive threads already bu...
