Hehe that's a great pic of the daisy of doom. This is my favorite Sir Corby pic though. Badass.

I think what I will probably do is build pockets in my arming coat to accommodate some shaped and padded plates. That way they will be hidden by the jupon or whatever I am gonna wear anyway and I'll be able to remove them to wash the garment and won't be adding extra fabric or material to the kit ov...

That's for just the 12" x 6' simple pennon. The little ones are $10 a piece. I was originally thinking of selling a package of the 6' pennon and two little ones for $45 since that's what you can get out of a piece of fabric but I can do the little teeny ones separately if I have fabric scraps t...

I have tried for years to find a seamstress to kidnap and hold captive with no success. :x I have sewn myself to the machine before though. It surprisingly didn't hurt much at all but it makes people cringe when I tell the story. :D

It's hard to say exactly where a headache like that comes from but my money would more be on the angle of mild concussion. A headache is the most common symptom of a concussion. A helm that is too light or not padded right isn't going to offer you a lot of protection against your brain sloshing into...

I am one of those people that needs instructions written for dummies on garb.

The only thing I am wondering though is whether or not things need to be constructed differently if you plan on using buttons instead of lacing.

Separate price on just the 12" x 6' pennon is $25 each so long as the design is kept simple.

Also I have to order the silk for this new size so it's going to add a little bit to my delivery time, but not much. Luckily Dharma ships very fast.

Yes. They're made the exact same way the big ones are, just smaller. I can do it but things have to be rearranged a bit to make them fit on something that small. The best way to do it would be to do it like this one that I did for a friend. http://i538.photobucket.com/albums/ff347/isabellaevangelist...

Well, there are times where for my job I have to drive in a brick on wheels for miles and miles down cruddy, bumpy roads that are more like riding trails. I want to minimize the bum trauma so I can go to work and the guys don't laugh at me.

How to interpret this? CoP skirt thingy.

I am working on putting all the elements of my harness together now that most of the parts are done or being worked on. I saw this here on the Archive when someone posted it, but at the time I didn't ask the questions which I'm now mulling over and I was hoping some of you guys might have some ideas...

I'm not sure much can be done about the face thrust with the spear thing to make it more safe. I don't think you can really compare the two blows in terms of safety though because they come from a very different mechanism and the force on each is not applied in the same way or from a similarly shape...

You only have chain covering your face...not a full face helm. Have I mentioned in this thread that I think "maille standard" is stupid, and the the mail drape (note, roughly the same as your gut protection) over the face allowing "lighter" shots to be counted doubly so? I'm wit...

Isabella E Updates and new banner type interest thread.

I'm whittling down my queue and it's mostly cleared out now. So if anybody wants to place an order for delivery before Pennsic let's talk. Also I had a request from a friend to make a couple pennons for their equestrian activities so I thought I would see if there was any interest in them. These are...
