I'm not sure what the armor conventions are in your are but if it is an option I personally find a silk undershirt to be far more comfortable, particularly in high heat.

Well, I know that in some kingdoms you can't wear heraldry with the laurel wreath unless you are an entitled representative of the group the arms are registered to. You have to instead wear a laurel wreath free populace ensign of some sort.

The economic situation is affecting SCA merchants across the board from what I've gathered, myself included. I hope everything turns around for those of you who have been relying on armoring or whatever as your primary income.

The edges are outlined with gutta like all of the design elements. It's a rubber based resist and I try to leave at least 1/8" to keep the edges from fraying.

There's lots of small local LARP groups all across the country that do boffer fighting. NERO, Dagorhir, Darkon, Belgarth, SOLAR and Amtgard are a few. You can just google something like 'LARP boffer group' and get a lot of hits.
