Find a rapier fighter with a old hood pattern. I used mine as the pattern for my aventail liner. It was perfect. does it have to be a fencing hood or could you convert the pattern for a dress hood? Hold the top of the cuise between the thumb and forefinger. Move your fingures along the top till you find the point where the hang straight. That's the front attachment point. My Dagger Scabbaed

Started work on this after Gulf Wars. Had the hardest time figuring out the best way to hang it because the dagger is so top heavy. Finaly came up with the idea of the "D" rings a couple of weeks ago. Put the finishig touches on it last Saturday.

Here is our curent SCA digs. It's the smaller Panther Regant. Cozy for the two of us. Too small for when our son was with us. The awning is my own design. it can be used as a free-standing peaked sun shade or a small gallery for day-trips.

The lettering is beautiful. the diamonds to use up open space? Is that a period solution. If not I still like it (meaning I'm steeling it!) my motto is only three words and it leaves a lot of open space.
